Leonardo da Vinci

Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (1452-1519), usually known as Leonardo da Vinci, was an Italian polymath of the Renaissance. He also became famous for his skills in invention, drawing, painting, sculpting, architecture, science, music, engineering, literature, mathematics, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, history, writing, and cartography. He is considered one of the greatest painters, even though only 15 of his paintings have survived. The Mona Lisa’s masterpiece is the most famous portrait ever made.
