Leonardo da Vinci

Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (1452-1519), usually known as Leonardo da Vinci, was an Italian polymath of the Renaissance, who also became famous for his skills in invention, drawing, painting, sculpting, architecture, science, music, engineering, literature, mathematics, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, history, writing, and cartomography. He is considered one of the greatest painters of all time, despite the fact that only 15 of his paintings have survived. His masterpiece, the Mona Lisa, is the most famous portait ever made.
